Beam Bypass
💡 Route pipes around structural beams with smart detours.
What it does
Beam Bypass scans the model looking for clashes between vertical pipes and structural beams (from a structural link) and creates automatic 45° physical detours around them — with no need to select pipe by pipe.
When to use it
After routing the plumbing network, to check the whole level (or the whole project) at once for vertical pipes crossing beams, instead of hunting down each clash by hand.
Prerequisites
- Structural model with the beams linked into the project.
- Plumbing pipework already modeled.

Common errors
| Symptom | Likely cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| "No interference was found" even though a crossing is clearly visible | Wrong structural link selected, or configuration filters excluding the run | Check the chosen link and review the bypass settings |
| The "Resolve" button does nothing | There is no viable route to resolve that clash | Adjust the run manually or review the bypass settings |
| Button greyed out | License without the Plumbing · Beam Bypass feature | Check your license / contact support |
