Venting - Stack
💡 Connect the vent branch straight into an existing vent stack.
What it does
Venting ▸ Venting - Stack connects a drainage run to a vent stack that already exists in the model. Fluxor inserts the tee on the drain, the riser pipe and the final run climbing at 1% up to the stack, with no need to draw the segment by hand.
When to use it
When the room is close enough to an existing vent stack (riser) and there is no need to create a dedicated loop climbing above the fixtures.
Prerequisites
- Existing vent stack already modeled in the project.
- Drainage run to be vented already modeled and connected.
- Being in a plan view of the correct level.

Common errors
| Symptom | Likely cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| The stack does not show up in the selection | Vent stack not modeled or out of the active view's range | Confirm that the stack exists and is visible in the view |
| No path option appears when pressing TAB | There is no viable 45°/90° route between the run and the stack at that position | Reposition the connection point of the drainage run and try again |
