Venting - Loop

💡 Create a multi-storey vent loop connecting into the riser above the fixtures.

What it does

Venting ▸ Venting - Loop works just like Venting - Stack up to the point where you pick the stack and the drainage run; from there, instead of connecting directly, it raises a vertical riser and connects into the stack at the elevation you enter — suggested automatically from the rim of the fixtures on the same system — using a 45° junction. This is the option for multi-storey buildings, connecting into the riser above the fixture rim (bathroom level + 15 cm).

When to use it

When there is no vent stack close enough to the drainage run and code requires a loop climbing above the fixture rim before connecting to the riser.

Prerequisites

  • Riser/vent stack defined for the connection.
  • Drainage run to be vented already modeled and connected.
  • Being in a view that shows multiple levels (section or 3D), since the riser crosses slabs.
